2. Hosting

This site is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit, the server processes technical data such as your IP address, date and time, requested page and browser information (server log files). This is necessary to deliver and secure the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Netlify has been certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and offers data processing terms.

3. Fonts

The fonts used on this site (Josefin Slab and Oswald) are hosted on this site's own server. No connection to Google or other font servers is made.

4. Google Analytics

With your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Art. 31 FADP) I use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Without your consent, no Google script is loaded and no cookies are set.

If you consent, Google sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) and collects pseudonymous usage data such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser, and referrer. IP addresses are not logged or stored by Google Analytics 4. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA, which is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Cookies are stored for up to 2 years, and analytics data is retained for 2 months.

Advertising features and personalised advertising are not used; the corresponding consent signals are always denied.

You can withdraw your consent at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, which reopens the consent banner. Withdrawing does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

5. External links

This site links to Instagram, LinkedIn and Tumblr. No data is transferred to these services until you click a link. After that, their own privacy policies apply.

6. Your rights

This site is operated from Switzerland and is governed by the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). For visitors from the EU/EEA, the GDPR applies as well.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email info@patricmeier.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if you are in the EU/EEA, with your local supervisory authority.
